REVIEWS/DESCRIPTIONS:
"NY's Half Man are messy chaotic punk hardcore a la Born Against with slurred screaming vocals. Kisses and Hugs are even messier and crazier, with lots of speed, and extremely nice screechy screaming vocals. Nice pairing." - Very Catalog
"This is more quality Half Man material. Familiar but really interesting. Political but not dogmatic. These guys were just a really good and important band that people should still be listening to. The Kisses and Hugs side is completely ridiculous. The first time I heard K&H was a lesson in how abrasive music could be. The first song is just nasty; mid tempo hardcore with some of the most insane and painful vocals Iāve ever heard (before or since). The second song is a look forward to what so many bands would sound like after them: fast, abrasive, super speedy drumming with bitter lyrics. This band was really educational for me in that they lifted the bar on how insane hardcore could be. Between the two bands youāve got a serious and heavy record." - BEN, MTNCIA
