REVIEWS/DESCRIPTIONS:
"For Render Useless, emo hasn't died with bands like Policy of 3, Current, Indian Summer, etc. They are actually desperate to give you their fare share. Render Useless digs up bones from the past that some may think are already too tired like all the bands aforementioned, but they give it a zip, a catchy happy zip, even for those that couldn't care less to hear some of the oldies but goodies. Recharged, solid, hectic, and powerful numbers. From Victoria, B.C., Render Useless also keeps that Canadian flowing edge like Breakwater or a more simplified version of Republic of Freedon Fighters. 4 songs to catch on the grooviest and catchiest emotive train around. How would I say awesome up in Canada - damn wicked." - Heartattack #17
"I guess itās easy to forget how good this record is because every time I put it on Iām surprised at what a great listen it is ö thatās what obscurity does for you I guess. Obscurity also has another effect however; there are only 1000 or so people who will ever know how good this record is and we 1000 should feel really lucky. What makes this record great is the pervasive feeling of personal touch the band has put into this work. You know that feeling you get when you have a homemade zine or record in your hands? Thatās the feeling Iāve always gotten from this record. Listening and looking at this record is to truly have a piece of the people who made it. The music sounds very sincere and the booklet comes across more like a letter than something you get with a 7". When I was done listening and reading this for the first time I really felt like I knew a lot about these people ö and if you think about it, that makes sense and that experience shouldnāt be as rare as it is. For that reason this was an important record in my life. It taught me a lot about the importance of making your art really reflect who you are. Their lyrics are really excellent examples of how to write personal political lyrics and the booklet this comes with is just beautiful. Thereās nothing I dislike about this record (with the possible exception that it is too short)." BEN, MTNICA
